  • Casa Zorro and the adjoining Apartamentos Hermanas are located in the town of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Mexico. They are 1 block from the beach and marina, a 3-minute walk into the quaint town of La Cruz, about 25 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta and 25 minutes south of Sayulita. It’s a perfect launching pad to enjoy the entire Bay of Banderas/Vallarta area.

  • You’ll want to book your flights int airport code “PVR”. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico). It is about 20-25 minute Uber ride to Casa Zorro.

  • We have a flexible cancelation policy. Please enter your dates into our booking system here and it will show the “cancel by” date.

  • Casa Zorro (3-bed) and Casita Zorrito (studio) have direct access to a beautiful shared saltwater pool and lounge area that includes a separate bathroom and outdoor shower. If you’d like exclusive use of the pool, you can rent both Casa Zorro and Casita Zorrito together.

    Apartments Rita & Alyssa do NOT have access to the pool, but do have a shared rooftop deck with ocean views, dining, grill and lounge area.

  • At the beginning of your stay, you’ll find that we’ve provided a week of essentials including bottled drinking water, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, trash bags, etc.

  • You can arrange for a private car, taxi or also use Uber.

    Uber is legal and safe here as well as very easy and very affordable (you just have to walk 2 minutes across a pedestrian bridge with your luggage, as the rideshare is not able to pick you up on airport grounds).

    Renting a car is also a great way to explore more of the Bay area and each property has secure garage parking available.

  • Each property allows for contactless check-in; we have smart locks for which you’ll be given a unique code. Extra keys are available inside your unit, although you likely won’t need them during your stay as you can access everything with keycodes.

  • Check-in begins at 3:00pm. Check-out is at 11:00am.

  • We have an excellent local property manager, Rosa, who is available via text to assist with any emergencies at any point during your stay. She speaks both Spanish and English.

  • Our pool guy visits 3 times a week to test and clean the pool. The gardener visits once per week. This regular maintenance is provided by the owners at no cost to the guests.

  • No elevator.

    Zorro: 3-levels in total

    Zorrito: Ground level (no stairs other than if you want to enjoy the shared rooftop deck)

    Alyssa: 2nd floor (1 flight of stairs)

    Rita: 3rd floor (2 flights of stairs)

    Bernadita: 2 levels in total (but there is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, whereas no stairs are required)

    If you have mobility concerns, we would suggest renting Zorrito, Bernadita, or Alyssa.

  • We do allow pets, but this needs to be discussed/arranged BEFORE your stay. Please inquire directly.

  • The property is 100% smoke-free. We do not allow smoking in the units or on the grounds.
