ELECTRICITY CAP: Normal usage included. Excessive use (of A/C) can result in additional fees (contract for each unit will have more details on average usage of each unit). Up to ~$10 USD per week in electricity costs are included in the Rent. Any additional cost will be deducted from the deposit at the end of the contract. The Landlord’s cost in winter/spring was only $30 USD a month, so do not expect this to be an issue. This clause is stipulated because if we over‐consume electricity here – for example by leaving the AC on when out for the day – the utility company (CFE) moves us to a more expensive bracket, and it’s very difficult to move back down.

CLEANING: If you are renting nightly or weekly, the unit will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival. However, cleaning during your stay is not included. If you'd like to schedule a cleaning, we can do so for you, at a rate of 500 pesos per cleaning visit. If you are renting on a monthly basis, then 1 monthly cleaning is included in your stay.

MONTHLY ELECTRICITY: Electricity is not included in monthly rentals. The final cost of electricity that you use will be deducted from your deposit. Please be conscious of not overusing electricity as it can quickly become expensive.
